the Africa ECD Country Profiles Countdown to 2030

UNICEF, in collaboration with Countdown to 2030 Women’s, Children’s and Adolescent’s Health., developed the "Country Profiles for Early Childhood Development." These profiles consolidate data for cross-country monitoring, establishing a baseline to track progress. Updated biannually, the initiative began with 91 countries in 2018 and expanded to cover 197 nations by 2020, with subsequent updates in 2021, 2023, and 2025. Each country's one-page summary features 40 ECD indicators and is available in Arabic, French, Russian, and Spanish. The complete dataset is downloadable from UNICEF, providing a vital resource for global ECD assessment.
